Vermont Child Health Improvement Program Vermont Child Health Improvement Program

Based at the University of Vermont in Burlington, VCHIP collaborates on many projects locally and nationally. These include child development, newborn and childhood preventive services, ADHD, asthma, foster care, prenatal care, opiate-exposed newborns and adolescent health.

VCHIP collaborates with the National Initiative for Children's Healthcare Quality (NICHQ) and the Institute for Health Care Improvement (IHI) to develop and plan future initiatives, as well as support current projects.
Child Health Institute - University of Washington Child Health Institute

Based in Seattle, The Child Health Institute (CHI) is a collaborative research effort comprising faculty and staff from the Schools of Medicine, Dentistry, and Public Health & Community Medicine at the University of Washington. We are one of the few research centers in the United States devoted exclusively to the study of the access, cost-effectiveness, quality and outcomes of health care for children.

FLICHQ (Florida Initiative for Children's Healthcare Quality), is an initiative of the University of South Florida, with funding support from the All Children's Hospital Foundation. FLICHQ has been established to improve the quality of health care for all children in Florida and the nation through research, teaching and the translation of knowledge into effective policies and practices
Institute for Healthcare Improvement Institute for Healthcare Improvement

The Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) is a not-for-profit organization leading the improvement of health care throughout the world. Founded in 1991 and based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, IHI is a reliable source of energy, knowledge, and support for a never-ending campaign to improve health care.

IHI helps accelerate change in health care by cultivating promising concepts for improving patient care and turning those ideas into action. The Institute offers comprehensive products and services that improve the lives of patients, the health of communities, and the joy of the health care workforce.
Nemours Nemours

Employing 445 subspecialty physicians and surgeons, Nemours cared for more than 221,000 children during nearly 887,000 patient visits in 2003, making Nemours one of the nation's largest pediatric subspecialty group practices with a history dating back to 1936.
