NICHQ'S Childhood Obesity Action Network is thankful to all of the National Congress on Childhood Obesity attendees for making the event such a success.  This full day event took place on March 19, 2008 in Miami, Florida prior to NICHQ's 7th Annual Forum for Improving Children's Healthcare.

Leaders in healthcare discussed and learned about the latest innovations, recommendations and potentially better practices in healthcare practice and policy related to combating this growing childhood epidemic. This event was a great opportunity to learn about successful practices and the Expert Committee Recommendations and to network with experts in the field of childhood obesity.

Through interactive workshop sessions and the dissemination of state of the art tools and resources, the goal of the National Congress on Childhood Obesity was to create a community of dedicated professionals working together to transform the way the healthcare system addresses childhood obesity.
