School-Based Healthcare

Providing care in the school setting is one approach for meeting the physical and behavioral health needs of children. School-based health centers or programs are especially useful in reducing health inequities and improving health outcomes for underserved children by meeting children where they already are –in school. Working to improve the quality of care for children having their healthcare needs met in a school setting makes sure children receive the accessible, high-quality and comprehensive healthcare they deserve.

How We're Helping
