NICHQ is pleased to offer a new virtual learning program specially designed for professionals committed to improving systems that contribute to the health and well-being of children. Through five interactive webinars and assignments, participants will learn and practice improvement science techniques and put the Model for Improvement into action.
During this interactive webinar series, participants will not only gain knowledge about improvement science, but personally apply it by identifying and carrying out a personal and/or professional improvement project. Participants will have the opportunity to have their assignments featured in class for peer critique and learning. Each webinar will have time for questions and answers.
Participants will learn how to:
> Design and execute improvement projects.
> Understand how to shape a project to increase the probability of success.
> Establish and apply measures to analyze project success.
> Apply the Breakthrough Series Model and the Model for Improvement in your improvement work.
Who should attend?
This is an ideal program for professionals who are new to quality improvement science, as well as those looking to enhance their quality improvement capacity. The course is relevant to hospital, public health and community leaders either in the healthcare sector or who work with those in the healthcare sector.
