CHIPRA Marks its One-Year Anniversary; Read Dr. Charles Homer's Reflections on a Georgetown University children's health policy blog

On February 4, 2009, President Obama signed the Children's Health Insurance Program Reauthorization Act (CHIPRA). CHIP has provided healthcare coverage to millions of children whose parents work full time but do not qualify for Medicaid and cannot afford private insurance.
